Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Rollestone Road spur between its junction with Hobson Way and its junction with Rollestone Road main carriageway.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hobson Way.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 13th August 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between 09:30 and 23:59).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out emergency overhead cabling works.
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
