Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Park Lane between its junction with Petersfield Road and the property known as New Barn Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Parkside Lane, Tegg Down Road, Old Park Road, A31, Petersfield Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 15th August 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between 09:30-23:59).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out emergency underground cabling works.
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
