Temporary Road Closure / Speed Restriction / One-Way System – A30 London Road, Newnham Lane, Water End Lane, Ashmoor Lane, Poors Farm Road / Old Basing & Lychpit / Basingstoke / Oldskool Neverland Festival / 2024
The following road will be temporarily restricted sometime during the next month. Expected start date 23/08/2024.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Oldskool Neverland Festival to take place on the Friday 23rd August 2024.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) Newnham Lane between its junction with Tylney Lane and its junction with Pyotts Hill.
2) Water End Lane between its junction with A30 London Road and its junction with Pot Lane.
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
1) A30 London Road between 2 points approximately 400 metres either side of its junction with Ashmoor Lane.
TEMPORARY ONE-WAY SYSTEM – To temporarily impose a one-way restriction on the following road(s):
1) Ashmoor Lane & Poors Farm Road between its junction with A30 London Road and Newnham Lane will be restricted for the duration of the event (Traffic will only be able to flow Southbound along these roads).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1) The Street, Crown Lane, Hatch Lane, A30, Old School Road, Newnham Road
DURATION OF ORDER: on Friday 23rd August 2024 and 24 hours a day for 4 days or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Oldskool Neverland Festival.
UK Traffic Management Serviced LTD will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
