Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Hart area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of New Road between its junction with Pine Grove and continuing 34 metres Northwest along New Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gordon Avenue, Corringway
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Tuesday 10th September 2024 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 13 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cappagh Contractors to carry out repair of collapsed sewer pipe safely.
