Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Medstead Road between its junction with Wellhouse Road and continuing for 1000 metres Southwest Along Medstead Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Medstead Road, Kings Hill, Abbey Road, Hussell Lane, High Street, Trinity Hill, Trinity Road, Holt End Road, Station Road, Basingstoke Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Friday 13th September for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out restoration of customer service safely.
