Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Mill Lane between its junction with Sherfield Road and continuing North along Mill Lane for 143 metres.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mill Lane, Stratfield Saye Road, Bramley Lane, Sherfield Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Tuesday 17th September 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out restoration of network.
