Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Rushmoor area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that that part of A325 Slip Road between its junction with A325 and its junction with Alisons Road.
That part of Pennefathers Road between its junction with A325 and its junction with Montgomery Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A323, Ash Road, A331, Lynchford Road, A325
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 18th September 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days and will be followed up with a notice next week, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Southeast Water to lay 120 metre new drinking water main. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected].
Southeast Water will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
