Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Gosport area

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Alverstoke Michaelmas Faye 2024 to take place on the Saturday 28th September 2024.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

 

1)     Green Road between its junction with The Avenue and its junction with Anglesey Road.

2)     Village Road between its junction with The Avenue and its junction with Coward Road.

3)     Church Road between its junction with Village Road and its junction with Anglesey Road.

4)     Little Lane between its junction with Church Road and its junction with Green Road.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

 

Anglesey Road, Bury Road, The Avenue

 

DURATION OF ORDER: on 28th September 2024 between the hours 08:30 – 17:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.

The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Alverstoke Michaelmas Faye.
