Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Blissford Hill between its junction with Frogham Hill and continuing 100 metres Southwards along Blissford Hill.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hern Lane, Hungerford Lane, Ringwood Road, Stuckton Road, Frogham Hill
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 18th September 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out telegraph pole replacement safely.
