NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.  

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

• that part of Hatchers Lane between its junction with Hensting Lane and its junction with Downstead Lane.
• that part of Downstead Lane between its junction with Hatchers Lane and its junction with Warley Lane.
• that part of Warley Lane between its junction with Downstead Lane and its junction with Owslebury Bottom.
• that part of Jackmans Hill between its junction with Warley Lane and its junction with Morestead Hill. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

Hatchers Lane – Mare Lane, Warley Lane, Downstead Lane.

Downstead Lane - Warley Lane, Owslebury Bottom, Hatchers Lane.

Warley Lane – Mare Lane, Hatchers Lane, Owslebury Bottom.

Jackmans Hill – Morestead Hill, Longwood Road, Owslebury Bottom. 

DURATION OF ORDER: from 7^th October 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days, working between the hours 08:00-18:00).  

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GM Networks Ltd to carry out telegraph pole replacements. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
