Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of The Street between its junction with Wheatley Lane and continuing for 700 metres East along The Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Farnham Road, Forge Road, Green Street, Mill Lane, Montecchio Way, London Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Friday 20th September 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out restoration of customer service.
