THE HAMPSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, EAST HAMPSHIRE) (PARKING PLACES AND PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING / UNLOADING AND CLEARWAY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (VARIATION NO. 25) ORDER 2024

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement further school keep clear zig-zags on The Avenue in Liphook. This shall be affected by varying the Principal Order as follows: (i) remove the following Schedule 2 of the Principal Order: The Avenue south side (ii) Between a point 127 metres west of its junction with Avenue Close and a point 24 metres west of that point; and (ii) insert the item specified the Schedule to this order into a new Schedule 21d of the Principal Order. In this Order, the Principal Order means The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012. This Order will revoke in full and consolidate items from the following two Orders with no change of substance save for the changes above: (i) The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading / Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012 (Variation No. 8) Order

(PARKING PLACES AND PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, WAITING, LOADING / UNLOADING AND CLEARWAY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012

(VARIATION NO. 25) ORDER 2024

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 8th October 2024, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 39, 53, 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

(i)        The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading / Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012 (Variation No. 8) Order 2016; and

(ii)       The Hampshire (Various Roads, East Hampshire) (Parking Places and Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading / Unloading and Clearway) Consolidation Order 2012 (Variation No. 8) Order 2015 (Amendment) Order 2019.

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Monday 21st October 2024.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 19th November 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
