Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Fleet 5K & 10K Road Races to take place on the Sunday 27th October 2024.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) A323 Reading Road North, between its junction with Elvetham Road and its junction with A3013 Fleet Road.
2) Elvetham Road, between its junction with A323 Reading Road North and its junction with A3013 Fleet Road.
3) A3013 Fleet Road, between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Elvetham Road.
4) Kings Road, between its junction with A3013 Fleet Road and its junction with Albert Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1) No Diversion Applicable, rolling road re-opening will be implemented as runners pass any one point.
DURATION OF ORDER: on Sunday 27th October 2024 between the hours 09:00 – 11:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
The Road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Fleet 5K & 10K Road Races.
