Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Gregory Lane between its junction with Heathen Lane and continuing along Gregory Lane for 318 metres Northwest.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gregory Lane, Calcot Lane, Botley Road, Winchester Road, Durley Street.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Monday 14th October 2024 for a maximum period of 1 day or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 days and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out restoration of customer service.
