GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to impose a prohibition of waiting on Bach Close and Gershwin Road as follows: Sides of road at Basingstoke No waiting at any time Road Side Length Gershwin Road North Between its junction with Bach Close and a point 31 metres west thereof. THE HAMPSHIRE (BACH CLOSE, BASINGSTOKE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (VARIATION NO. 13) ORDER 2024

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 29th October 2024, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 122(1) and 122(2) of the Act, Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 10th December 2024 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
