Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Road Through Fritham between its junction with Janesmoor Plain Road and continuing along Road Through Fritham to a point of 512 metres West.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Janesmoor Plain Road
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Thursday 31st October 2024 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 06/11/2024, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Kier to carry out repair burst main.
