NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of works on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay. 
 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Kew Lane between its junction with School Road and its junction with Salterns Lane/ High Street  
 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kew Lane School Road
 
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 4th November 2024 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the works whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 18 days). 
 
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications to carry out fibre optic works.  
 
CCN Communications will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
