PROPOSAL TO INCREASE RESOURCED PROVISION PLACES FOR PUPILS WITH SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH (SEMH) NEEDS AT BEDENHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL, GOSPORT
Bedenham Primary School is proposing to increase the number of places in their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Resourced Provision by 6 places from 12 to 18 from September 2025.

- Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, that Hampshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to BEDENHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL Bridgemary Avenue, Gosport PO13 0XT (category of school –Community School) with effect from September 2025.
- Bedenham Primary School has an established Resourced Provision for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It is proposed to increase the SEMH Resourced Provision by 6 places from 12 to 18 from September 2025. This change will not affect the overall capacity of mainstream places at Bedenham Primary School.
- A drop-in session where you will be able to discuss the proposal will take place on Monday 18 November 3:40pm – 6pm at Holbrook Primary School.
- Capital costs for this proposed change are estimated to be in the region of £75,000.
