GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to: (i) Impose a no waiting 9am-6pm 01 May-31 Oct restriction on the west side of Jellicoe Avenue between a point 21 metres south of the centreline of Palmerston Way and a point 55 metres south of that point and on the east side of Jellicoe Avenue between a point 24 metres south of the centreline of Village Road and a point 145 metres south of that point. THE HAMPSHIRE (GOSPORT) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 5th November 2024, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effectS of the Order: Will be to:
(i) Impose a no waiting 9am-6pm 01 May-31 Oct restriction on the west side of Jellicoe Avenue between a point 21 metres south of the centreline of Palmerston Way and a point 55 metres south of that point and on the east side of Jellicoe Avenue between a point 24 metres south of the centreline of Village Road and a point 145 metres south of that point.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 17th December 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
