Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
Station Road: that part of Station Road between its junction with Ashburn Place and between its junction with Ashburn Close.
Victoria Gardens: that part of Victoria Gardens between Victoria Road and between its junction with Station Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road, Main Road, Court Hill, High Street, Martin Road, A354, B3081, Parsonage Lane, Cranbourne Road, Wimborne Street, Castle Street, Hare Lane, Daggons Road, Hillbury Road, Fordingbridge Road, Bowerwood Road, Church Street, West Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 18th November 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Saturday 23rd November 2024, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Services to carry out excavation works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
