The following road will be temporarily closed some time during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 25/11/2024.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED:
1) Bottle Lane between a point approximately 100 Metres East and West of its junction with Church Lane, with access only between its junction with A33 Reading Road and its junction with Bylands Lane.
2) Church Lane between its junction with Bottle Lane and a point approximately 100 Metres South of said junction, with access only between its junction with Bottle Lane and its junction with Hartley Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE(S):
1) Bylands Lane, A33
2) Hartley Lane, A33, Bottle Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 25th November 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Traffic Control 123 Ltd to carry out excavate to install 1m duct in the verge and 5m duct in the carriageway. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
Traffic Control 123 Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
