The following roads will be temporarily closed at some point over the next 21 days.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
· that part of Cowper Avenue between its junction with Mount Avenue and a point approx. 30m southwest from that junction.
· that part of Mount Avenue between its junction with Norris Gardens and its junction with Aspen Place.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Cowper Avenue – Orchard Grove
Mount Avenue – A337, B3058, Barton Court Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 14th November 2024 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 7 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to carry out emergency gas repairs.
SGN will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
