The following footpath will be temporarily closed some time during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 09/12/2024.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Footpath from Chopin Road to Brighton Way (SUBWAY 1455) between its junction with Gershwin Road Footpaths and its junction with Haydn Road Footpaths.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gershwin Road Footpaths, Footpath adjacent to Brighton Way, Haydn Road Footpaths, Chopin Road Footpaths, Haydn Road Footpaths
DURATION OF ORDER: from 9th December 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days, working between the hours 09:30 – 16:00).
The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for J&G Traffic Ltd to carry out footpath clearing works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
J&G Traffic Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
