Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Northgate Lane between its junction with Hackwood Lane and between the junction with Grammarsham Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hackwood Lane, Church Lane, Farleigh Road, The Avenue, Grammarsham Lane
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Friday 29th November 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 29th November 2024, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Kier to carry out pole replacement.
