Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bell Hill between its junction with Drovers Way and continuing along Bell Hill for 240 metres South.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bell Hill, Winchester Road, Petersfield Road, Gosport Road, Stoner Hill
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 4th December 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Wednesday 4th December 2024, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Open Reach to carry out restoration of customer service.
