TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON HIGHWOOD AVENUE AND ADJACENT ROADS, EASTLEIGH

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to amend schedule 2.01 (No waiting at any time) of ‘The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Centre) Consolidation Order 2022’ as specified below: (i) Remove the following items: Road Side Length Highwood Avenue North Between its roundabout junction with Stoneham Way (Link Road) and a point 145 metres west thereof. Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Eastleigh area

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON HIGHWOOD AVENUE AND ADJACENT ROADS, EASTLEIGH

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 39, 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

 

General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to amend schedule 2.01 (No waiting at any time) of ‘The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Centre) Consolidation Order 2022’ as specified below:

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email [email protected] quoting reference: - [A2082/KK], by Friday 3rd January 2025. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

 

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (The Borough of Eastleigh) (Eastleigh Town Centre) (Consolidation Order 2022) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2025.”
