Notice of bridge and pontoon replacement operations at Hamble Point Marina 9 December – 1 March 2025

1.                  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bridge and pontoon replacement operations will take place at various locations in Hamble Point Marina between 9 December 2024 and 1 March 2025.  These works will see the replacement of two access bridges at the South and North of the Marina and some adjacent pontoons.  Works will be conducted from a barge.  The completion date of the works will be weather dependent.

2.                  Vessels involved will display the appropriate lights and shapes as required by the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea.

3.                  River users are advised to maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 for navigational broadcasts during these operations and navigate with caution in the vicinity of the vessels involved.

4.                  Further information on these works can be obtained from the Harbour Office or by calling ‘Hamble Harbour Radio’ on VHF Channel 68.
