Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Reindeer Run 2024 to take place on the Sunday 15th December 2024.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) B3058 Park Lane/High Street/Milford Crescent between its junction with Westover Road and its junction with Church Hill.
2) Westover Road & Hurst Road between its junction with B3058 Park Lane and its junction with Sea Road.
3) Ravens Way between both of its junction with Westover Road.
4) Sea Road between its junction with Hurst Road and its junction with High Street.
5) High Street between its junction with Sea Road and its junction with Church Hill.
6) Church Hill between its junction with High Street and its junction with B3058 Milford Crescent.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1) Manor Road, Barnes Lane, New Valley Road, Kivernell Road, De La Warr Road
DURATION OF ORDER: on Sunday 15th December 2024 between the hours 12:30 – 17:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Reindeer Run 2024.
