1. Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, that Hampshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to BARTLEY CHURCH OF ENGLAND JUNIOR SCHOOL Windsor Road, Bartley, SO40 2HR (category of school – Voluntary Controlled School) with effect from September 2025.

2. The proposal is to utilise and convert surplus accommodation within the school as a base for the Resourced Provision. This will provide accommodation to meet the needs of up to 12 primary aged pupils with SEMH needs which will open in phases from September 2025. This change will not affect the overall capacity of mainstream places at Bartley Church of England Junior School. 

3. Capital costs for this proposed change are estimated to be in the region of £650,000.
