NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay. 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Cocum Road between its junction with Roberts Road and its junction with A303 from J A34 to J B3048 W.  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A30, B3420, B3048, Southside Road, Barton Stacey Road 

DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 12^th December 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day). 

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out emergency overhead cable repairs. 

Sunbelt Rentals will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
