The following roads will be temporarily closed sometime during the next few days. Expected start date 12/01/2025.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an emergency notice under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Stubbington 10k to take place on the Sunday 12th January 2025.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

 

1)     Stubbington Square between its junction with Park Lane and its junction with Red Lion Roundabout.

2)     Gosport Road between its junction with Mays Lane Roundabout and its junction with Daedalus Way Roundabout.

3)     Marine Parade West between its junction with the Hovercraft Museum and its junction with Sea Lane.

4)     Crofton Avenue between its junction with Stubbington Lane and its junction with Salterns Road.

5)     Salterns Road between its junction with Crofton Avenue and its junction with Crofton Lane.  

6)     Hill Head Road between its junction with Crofton Lane and its junction with Knights Bank Road.

7)     Crofton Lane between its junction with Salterns Road and its junction with Bell Davies Road.

8)     Stubbington Lane between its junction with Bells Lane and its junction with Gosport Road.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

 

N/A. Diversions will be advised by Marshalls out on the route at the time of the event.

 

DURATION OF ORDER: on Sunday 12th January 2025 between the hours 08:00 – 13:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.

The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Stubbington 10k.
