1. Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, that Hampshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to CRESTWOOD COMMUITY SCHOOL Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 4FZ (category of school – Community) with effect from September 2025.

2. Crestwood Community School has two established Resourced Provisions. One for Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) on the Shakespeare campus, the other for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on both campuses.

3. Due to reduced demand and improved SEN support within most secondary schools, the proposal is to reduce the SpLD Resourced Provision by 7 places from 15 to 8 places from September 2025. This change will not affect the overall capacity of mainstream places at Crestwood Community School.

4. There is no capital cost to this proposed change.
