Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Winchester 10K to take place on the Sunday 23rd February 2025.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) The Broadway between its junction with Eastgate Street and its junction with Colebrook Street.
2) Colebrook Street between its junction with Market Lane and its junction with the Broadway.
3) B3330 Eastgate Street between its junction with B3331 Friarsgate and its junction with The Broadway.
4) B3331 Friarsgate between its junction with B3330 Eastgate Street and its junction with B3331 St Georges Street.
5) B3331 St Georges Street between its junction with B3331 Friarsgate and its junction with B3040 Jewry Street.
6) B3040 Jewry Street between its junction with B3331 St Georges Street and its junction with B3047 Hyde Street.
7) B3047 Hyde Street between its junction with B3040 Jewry Street and its junction with B3047 Worthy Road.
8) B3047 Worthy Road between its junction with B3047 Hyde Street and its junction with B3047 London Road.
9) B3047 London Road between its junction with B3047 Worthy Road and its junction with Bedfield Lane.
10) Bedfield Lane between its junction with B3047 London Road and its junction with Springvale Road.
11) Springvale Road between its junction with Bedfield Lane and its junction with Well House Lane.
12) Well House Lane between its junction with Down Farm Lane and its junction with B3420 Andover Road North.
13) B3420 Andover Road North between its junction with Well House Lane and its junction with B3045 Worthy Lane.
14) B3045 Worthy Lane between its junction with B3420 Andover Road North and its junction with B3047 Hyde Street.
15) Russell Road between its junction with B3047 Worthy Road and its junction with Oglander Road.
16) Oglander Road between its junction with Russell Road and its junction with Hillier Way.
17) Hillier Way between its junction with Oglander Road and its junction with Nuns Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
N/A. Diversions will be advised by Marshalls out on the route at the time of the event.
DURATION OF ORDER: on Sunday 23rd February 2025 between the hours 08:00 – 10:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
This Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Winchester 10K.
