Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Old Milton Road between its junction with Station Road and its junction with Elm Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Old Milton Road, Lymington Road, Station Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Tuesday 11th February 2025 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Wednesday 19th February 2025, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to carry out fix of gas leak.
