On 22 January 2025 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Orders made under sections 26 and 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed will amend the Definitive Map by recording public footpath rights on a path that is currently in use by the public, and extinguishing a path currently shown on the Definitive Map that is no longer used, as follows: Public footpaths to be created •Commencing at a junction with East Dean Footpath 3 and proceeding in a southerly direction for approximately 57 metres, then continuing in an easterly direction for approximately 677 metres, turning northwards towards woodland and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to SU 2839 2737, through a junction with East Tytherley Footpath 20. Then in a northerly direction adjacent to East Tytherley Footpath 20 and continuing in a south-westerly direction for approximately 30 metres to rejoin Tytherley Footpath 20. •Commencing at SU 2848 2732 on East Tytherley Footpath 20 and continuing in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 606 metres to Holbury Lane. Public footpaths to be extinguished •Commencing at a junction with East Dean Footpath 3 and proceeding in an east to north-easterly direction for approximately 1407 metres. •Commencing at the T junction on East Tytherley Footpath 20 and proceeding in a north-west to northerly direction to join East Tytherley Footpath 16 and then south-eastwards for approximately 27 metres. •Commencing at SU 2848 2732 on East Tytherley Footpath 20 and proceeding in a south-westerly direction for approximately 42 metres, continuing in a generally south-easterly direction to a junction with Holbury Lane.
