THE HAMPSHIRE (NEW FOREST) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES MAP SCHEDULES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (VARIATION NO. 3) ORDER 2025

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area

THE HAMPSHIRE (NEW FOREST) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES MAP SCHEDULES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (VARIATION NO. 3) ORDER 2025

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 25th February 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

 

 

General nature and effectS of the Order: Is to:

 

(i)      Replace the existing limited waiting Mon-Sat 9am-5pm 4 hours no return within 1 hour on The Rise with a parking place with no time restriction as specified in Schedule I below; and

(ii)     Add no waiting at any time on Rhinefield Road as specified in Schedule II below

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Saturday 7th March 2025.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 8th April 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
