Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Kings Saltern Road between its junction with Westfield Road and continuing to a point 40 metres Northeast on Kings Saltern Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Westfield Road, Stanley Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 26th February 2025 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 4th March 2025, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South West Water to carry out repair of mains leak.
