On 27 February 2025 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish the public footpath commencing at a junction with Fair Oak and Horton Heath Footpath 501 and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to a junction with Fair Oak and Horton Heath Footpaths 736a and 764. The history of Fair Oak and Horton Heath Footpath 32 is that it was built over when the area was developed, and the necessary diversion order was not progressed at the time. As a result, the legal line of the path currently runs through a number of properties in Stoke Heights. Fair Oak and Horton Heath Footpath 501. Which was constructed as part of the development and was recently added to the Definitive Map, runs to the west of Footpath 32.
