THE HAMPSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, EASTLEIGH AND WINCHESTER) (30, 40 AND 50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDERS: Will be to impose a 30 miles per hour limit on Wangfield Lane and on Maddoxford Lane between a point 158 metres east of its junction with Crows Nest Lane to its junction with Wangfield Lane. This will also fix several anomalies identified in older orders, mostly the descriptions of roads that had a 30 miles per hour limit that extended across their entire length and will remove references to Restricted Roads.

THE HAMPSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, EASTLEIGH AND WINCHESTER)
(30, 40 AND 50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 11th March 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under 84 and 122(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effectS of the OrderS: Will be to impose a 30 miles per hour limit on Wangfield Lane and on Maddoxford Lane between a point 158 metres east of its junction with Crows Nest Lane to its junction with Wangfield Lane. This will also fix several anomalies identified in older orders, mostly the descriptions of roads that had a 30 miles per hour limit that extended across their entire length and will remove references to Restricted Roads.
DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Friday 28th March 2025.
