TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – CHASE GROVE, WALTHAM CHASE PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to install removable bollards at the Curdridge Lane end of Chase Grove, and a point approximately 28 metres south of that junction. The section between Chase Grove spur and the bollard will remain as Prohibition of Motor Vehicles except access. The positions of the proposed bollards would maintain vehicle access to all properties, and they would be removable to facilitate utility/emergency access. This Order will revoke the existing “The Hampshire (Chase Grove, Waltham Chase)(Prohibition of Driving) Order 1996”

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – CHASE GROVE, WALTHAM CHASE PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order(s), in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to install removable bollards at the Curdridge Lane end of Chase Grove, and a point approximately 28 metres south of that junction. The section between Chase Grove spur and the bollard will remain as Prohibition of Motor Vehicles except access.

All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Chase Grove, Waltham Chase) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2025.”
