The following road will be temporarily closed at some point over the next 6 months, with an expected start date of 2nd April 2025.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
· that part of Bulpits Hill between its junction with Hatchbury Lane and its junction with Church Lane.
· that part of Church Lane between its junction with Bulpits Hill and the church of St Mary the Virgin.
· that part of Vernham Street between its junction with Bulpits Hill and the property known as Harts Bottom.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Lane, Manor Road, Upton Road, High Street, Bowers Lane, Bank Lane, Heath Barn, Rockmoor Lane, Vernham Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 2nd April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out overhead cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
