NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

· that part of A323 Fleet Road between its junction with A323/Elvetham Road Roundabout and its junction with Elvetham Heath Way Roundabout.

· that part of Elvetham Road between its junction with A323/Elvetham Road Roundabout and its junction with West Hill Gardens.

· that part of A323 Reading Road North between its junction with A323/Elvetham Road Roundabout and its junction with Broomrigg Road.

· that part of Hitches Lane between its junction with A323/Elvetham Road Roundabout and its junction with Glendale Park.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

1. A323, A30, A327, A3013, A323

2. Elvetham Road, then follow main diversion north or south

3. A323, A3013, A327, A30, A323.

4. Hitches Lane, Pilcot Road, The Street, Crookham Road then follow main diversion.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 8th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 nights, working between the hours 20:00-06:00).

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Walker Construction Ltd to carry out carriageway road marking. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
