TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – VARIOUS ROADS, PRESTON CANDOVER, BASINGSTOKE
The following roads will be temporarily closed some time during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 07/04/2025.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. B3046 Alresford Road/ Farleigh Road between its junction with Bugmore Lane and its junction with Spiers Lane.
2. Bugmore Lane between its junction with B3046 Alresford Road and its junction with The Avenue.
3. Wield Road between its junction with B3046 Alresford Road and its junction with Lower Wield Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1. B3046, B3047, A31, A339, B3046
2. B3046, Bugmore Hill
3. B3046, Lower Lanham Lane, Ox Drove Way, Pound Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 7th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 19 days all together, and in operation for 24 hours a day. With each closure taking place separately throughout this period of works).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for HV Energy Systems to carry out point of connection trenching for Preston Solar Farm. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
HV Energy Systems will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
