NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

· that part of Everton Road between its junction with Monteray Drive and its junction with Cottagers Lane.

· that part of Acacia Road between its junction with 9a Acacia Road and its junction with 19 Acacia Road.

FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED:

· that part of Acacia Road to Everton Road Footpath between its junction with Acacia Road and its junction with Everton Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

For Everton Road – Ashley Lane, Ashley Road, B3058, A337.

For Acacia Road – N/A, cul-de-sac.

For Acacia Road to Everton Road Footpath – Acacia Road, Monteray Drive, Everton Road.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 6th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 6 weeks, in operation for 24 hours a day).

The road/footpath closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Mackoy Ltd to carry out surface water installation works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
