TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – OFF-STREET PARKING AT FORT NELSON, PORTCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 33, 35(1), 47, 122(1) and 122(2) of the Act, as amended by the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) and the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to implement Pay & Display parking at the off-street parking location at Fort Nelson in Portchester, subject to the following schedule:

All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Fort Nelson Overflow Car Park) (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2025.”
