Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Tunworth Road between its junction with Longroden Lane and its junction with Down Farm Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Weston Corbett, Weston Road, Alton Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 23rd April 2025 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 25th April 2025, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Open Reach to carry out restoration of customer service.
