GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to introduce No Waiting at any Time restrictions along Candover Close, Stratfield Avenue and Winchfield Gardens as detailed in the following schedule: No waiting at any time Road Side Length Candover Close East Between its junction with Stratfield Avenue and a point 5 metres north thereof. Candover Close West Between its junction with Stratfield Avenue and a point 10 metres north thereof. Stratfield Avenue North Between a point 10 metres east of its junction with Candover Close and a point 10 metres West of that junction, an approximate distance of 20 metres. Stratfield Avenue South Between a point 20 metres west of its junction with Winchfield Gardens and a point 6 metres east of that point, an approximate distance of 26 metres. Winchfield Gardens Both Between its junction with Stratfield Avenue and a point 10 metres south thereof.

THE HAMPSHIRE (THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEAN BOROUGH COUNCIL) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (VARIATION NO. 14) (STRADFIELD AVENUE, TADLEY) ORDER 2025

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 6th May 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 122 (1) and 122 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

 

General nature and effectS of the Order: Will be to introduce No Waiting at any Time restrictions along Candover Close, Stratfield Avenue and Winchfield Gardens as detailed in the following schedule:

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Tuesday 20th May 2025.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Friday 27th June 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
