Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hampton Hill between its junction with Swanmore Road and its junction with Well Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Well Lane, Vicarage Lane, Church Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Monday 12th May 2025 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 12th May 2025, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Euroforest Ltd to carry out tree removals.
