THE HAMPSHIRE (BROOKLEY ROAD, BROCKENHURST) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to introduce several stretches of limited waiting and no waiting at any time to accommodate a new road layout as outlined in the following schedules: To be Revoked: Limited Waiting, Monday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm, 1 hour no return within 1 hour Brookley Road, south side, between a point 5.5 metre west of the entrance in Tesco Car Park, westwards for approximately 10 metres. No Waiting, Monday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm Entrance to Brookley Road Car Park, west side, between a point 3 metres of Brookley Road, and a point 3 metre north of this point. To be implemented: No Waiting, Monday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm (i) Brookley Road, south side, between a point 5.5 metres west of the entrance to Tesco Car Park and a point 10 metres west thereof. (ii) Entrance to Brookley Road Car Park, west side, between a point 3 metres north of Brookley Road and the highway boundary, an approximate distance of 6 metres. (iii) Entrance to Tesco Car Park, both sides, between its junction with Brookley Road and the highway boundary, an approximate distance of 6 metres. A stretch of the south side of Brookley Road will be amended to reflect the new road layout.

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
THE HAMPSHIRE (BROOKLEY ROAD, BROCKENHURST) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 3rd June 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Act, Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

A stretch of the south side of Brookley Road will be amended to reflect the new road layout.
DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Wednesday 18th June 2025.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 15th July 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
