NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Shamblehurst Lane South between its junction with A334 Grange Road and its junction with Botley Road Service Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Botley Road

ONE-WAY TRAFFIC – To have one-way traffic implemented on the following road in an eastwards direction:

Botley Road Service Road between its junction with B3035 Botley Road and its junction with Shamblehurst Lane South.

LEFT-HAND TURN TO BE PROHIBITED: that part of Shamblehurst Lane South, heading left onto Botley Road Service Road is to be prohibited for the duration of the works.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1^st July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night, working between the hours 19:30 – 06:00).

The temporary restrictions above have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications to carry out fibre optic cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
